CLEENUPS DOs & DONTS - WHAT CAN GO IN YOUR SKIP BIN?
Our skip bins can be used for anything from green waste, household items to construction and demolition waste. However there are a few things you can’t toss like asbestos, chemicals and toxic waste. So here are some do’s and don’ts on what can and can’t go in your skip bin.
GENERAL WASTE
MIXED BUILDING WASTE
This includes bricks, dry concrete, tiles, rock, plasterboard, wood, scrap metal, rubble, clean soil, sand, and stones.
WHITE GOODS
This includes all house hold appliances (fans, irons vacuums etc), white goods (dish washer, fridges, laundry machine) and other kitchen appliances)
ELECTRONICS
This includes all electronics like tvs, computers, phones, cords, plugs, printers, keyboards, car batteries and more!
GREEN WASTE
This includes all landscaping waste, Tree branches, logs, grass clipping, shrub/yard clippings, clean fill soil and other general timber waste
FURNATURE
This includes household furniture, bed bases, old couches, lounges, tables and more.
CARDBOARD AND PLASTIC
This includes anything that's made from plastic (PVC plumbing, plastic bags, toys etc) and anything thats made from cardboard.
ADDITIONAL COST ITEMS
Below are the items that we will be charged from the local waste facility. If you choose to place any of these items in your hired bin then we will charge accordingly.
MATTRESSES
This Includes single, double, queen or king size mattresses
TYRES
This includes tyres and/or rims from motorcycles, cars, light, medium and heavy trucks, tractors etc.
